Mike Hayes - Foreman & Factory Owner
Mike is a self professed “marketing guy” who studied business at Dalhousie University, before moving to the centre of the advertising universe in London, England to learn his craft at J. Walter Thompson, on great brands such as Kraft/ General Foods, Teacher’s Whisky, Rolex, Unilever and Pizza Hut. Upon return to his hometown in Halifax, Mike applied his skills to clients Labatt, Atlantic Lottery, Bell/Aliant and Sobeys at CCL (now Colour), prior to taking his skills to an IT ‘start up’ (CrossOff Incorporated) that acquired 16 companies over a three year span.
Five years ago, he got involved in another start up. Safe Harbour Security, that he helped build into a national brand, and he is now dreaming big with this company, Free Agent Factory.
In his 25 years in the marketing field, he has co-authored one book, took a company public and proudly registered his name on a Canadian patent. He believes that good marketing is the key to leveraging competitive advantage and business success.
Paul MacInnes – Business Development
Paul brings a great passion, professionalism and sound business thinking to his role, after 20+ years of business development, government relations, sales management, quality management, training and consulting, for companies both large and small.
His primary focus is to bring Free Agent Factory’s unique business model and wide range of capabilities to small and medium sized businesses in need.
